5. Accents
Americans love an accent. Striving to understand the words puts the audience in a more engaged mode of viewing, and heightens the focus of the entire theatre. Speech has always captivated the mind, and speaking words one uses every day, but in an entirely different manner than one hears every day just tickles ones ear. Whether its the southern accents in Django Unchained, the Arabic accents in Argo, or the multiple accents being played out on the debate floor in Lincoln, hearing an accent just makes the entire film seem better.
