2. Best Supporting Actress - Anne Hathaway
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pkj3UCDCchk Anne Hathaway claiming "it came true" when she won her award felt awkward and rehearsed. She then went on to thank so many people it's possible she even mentioned my name. And when she thanked her husband, it killed the collective erection nerds worldwide had for her since seeing her as Selina Kyle last summer. But all that being said, Ms. Hathaway put on a true tour de force performance last year as Fantine in the famed musical Les Miserables. She manages to equally capture the desperation of a woman putting herself through hell on behalf of her ill child, while simultaneously being stunning, leaving the audiences' collective mouths agape at her rendition of the tune "I Dreamed A Dream." Though the film isn't perfect and is rather clunky at times (specifically, those pesky scenes in which Anne isn't on screen), her portrayal of Fantine is truly worth the price of admission in every sense of the word.
