A New Year. A new Academy Awards ceremony to look forward to. In fact, nominations are in full swing as we speak, and set to close any day now. Funny thing though, each year we look forward to the Academy Awards ceremony, despite the fact we know we'll spend the next few days complaining about the choices they made. It never fails. So before the nominees and eventual winners are announced, I want to pop this article into the mix, and take a few moments to defend the Academy and their choices. Do I agree with everything they choose? No, of course not, but that doesn't mean I don't
respect their choices. And here's why...
