Oscars 2016: Predicting All The Winners

The Nominees: Bridge Of Spies, Brooklyn, Mad Max: Fury Road, Room, Spotlight, The Big Short, The Martian, The Revenant
Who Will Win? The Revenant
Who Should Win? Mad Max: Fury Road What the f*ck happened here? Seriously? The Oscar nominations were, bar a few errors, shaping up to be the best they've ever been, then we get this? Where is Inside Out? Where is Carol? Those were my two personal wishes to win, and they're not even in the running?
What's here is still a solid set of movies, but the snubs are so glaring it hurts. From what's left, I guess it's Mad Max I'd want to win, but while I'm cocky enough to suggest a Best Director win for Miller, there's no way the Fury Road leads to Best Picture. Instead it comes down to Spotlight and The Revenant (everything else is stellar, but lacks momentum). And, even though I think the tense verbal thriller is phenomenal and has a small chance of taking it, the only thing working against The Revenant is that its director won last year. And that just isn't enough to stop it.
