OWF Awards 2010: Best Visual Effects

For those of you who follow our RSS Feeds, you probably noticed a previous OWF Awards article that was online for thirty minutes or so earlier today. That post has since been removed because the form function was ridden with bugs and I've had to come up with a Plan B, and I suspect we will get more votes for all categories this way anyway. Plan B is deciding the winners via polls, and to keep it manageable I'm doing it one award at a time over the following week. So our first OWF Award of 2010 (think of it as our version of the Oscars!) to give out is for Best Visual Effects. Which film wowed you with their use of CGI wizardy or as the Academy puts it - you are voting for the film where the effects "artistry, skill and fidelity with which the visual illusions are achieved!" stand tallest. You can nominate as many as three films from below, the top five will be OWF Nominated, the overall winner will win the top prize. Personally I voted for Inception, Iron Man 2 and Tron Legacy.
