Pop Quiz Hot Shot. Who in 2002 said about remakes...

“I feel it's the worst thing that any filmmaker can do.” Oh there's more folks (speaking on Texas Chainsaw Massacre & Dawn of the Dead) "Those movies are perfect- you're only going to make yourself look like an asshole by remaking them".

Rob Zombie! You have to be very careful when you give your opinions out on the web or in the print media for that matter because it doesn't just disappear like a conversation your having with your friend in the comfort of your bedroom or a pub. In that setting he might forget you said what you said, so when you change your stance on something he wouldn't notice but... When your on the web, everything is rememebered. That's why I try not to slag people off too much (although I can't help it most of the time) because you never know who is listening and who you are pissing off. If I slag off a film-maker today and call him the worst names under the sun and then two years down the line I actually get the chance to meet him... what would I say? "Hey man, love your work", when I've made it quite clear that I don't! Mr. Zombie unfortunately for him has become a victim of the web's relentless memory not to forget things. Below is an image of a printed interview conducted five years ago which I found over at Filmstalker which they found over at Stephen's House O'Blog who found the interview at Icons of Fright. Here it is below, in black and white. Even Zombie knew how much of a mistake it was to remake Halloween...
