Fox Searchlight are kicking off the marketing for
Alexander Payne's high-awards season December release drama
The Descendants, his first movie since the Oscar nominated
Sideways a whopping seven years ago. The movie stars
George Clooney as a rich Hawaiian who ventures on a road trip with this two daughters (
Shailene Woodley and
Amara Miller) after a boating accident leaves his cheating wife critically injured.
Judy Greer, Matthew Lillard, Beau Bridges and
Robert Forster all support and the film is based on a debut script by actors
Nat Faxon and
Jim Rash. Highly anticipated by the OWF crew, the first one-sheet has debuted and it definitely hints at the older audience tone that Sideways so easily captured. Can't wait to see Clooney in this... perhaps a Toronto premiere will be afforded the movie that actually opens December 6th. See the full poster after the jump;
