2. Lord Zedd As The Villain

Many fans hoped that the film's mid-credits scene would end up teasing the arrival of Lord Zedd, especially with Rita being slapped into outer space at the end, but sadly that wasn't the case.

Zedd is easily the Rangers' most terrifying and physically imposing major antagonist, a vascular humanoid with an exposed brain that unsurprisingly received complaints from concerned parents.

As a result, Zedd was ultimately transformed into a wackier goofball villain, but there's such a grand opportunity here for the next movie to reclaim Zedd's gritty, grim reputation once again.

How Likely Is It?: Pretty damn likely, to be honest. Zedd is such an icon of the series, and it'd be pretty lame to simply have Rita return in her gold form without some assistance, so making Zedd the next Big Bad has a ton of design potential while being able to exploit nostalgia for the iconic villain. 8/10
