10. The Putties

Fans of the original series might be a little disappointed to learn that the legendary Putties are in fact an incredibly brief fixture in this film, appearing as hologram-like training bots for the Rangers to battle, and then actually showing up for real at the start of the third-act set-piece.

The Putties have been given a major makeover looks-wise, no longer resembling guys in suits but rather rock-like creatures. It's a design choice that's proven pretty divisive, but they're so rarely in the film it's honestly hard to have strong feelings about them either way.

Best Moment: Getting beaten up on a mountainside by the Rangers during the movie's final battle, in the moment that most closely resembles the TV show (even though the putties sadly don't make those ridiculous garbled noises in this version).
