4. The Team Destroys The Jungle (Predator)

Predator is often cited as "the manliest film ever made", and there's arguably no better example of that than the, ahem, "deforestation" scene. The sequence sees a terrified Mac (Bill Duke) firing a Gatling Gun (nicknamed Old Painless) into the dense jungle following the death of Blaine (Jesse Ventura).

His surviving comrades quickly join in, firing their machine guns and grenade launchers in the apparent direction of the Predator, but ultimately doing nothing other than permanently altering the rain-forest landscape forever more.

Though the scene is inherently pretty hilarious, it also belies the fact that these muscle-bound commandos are now deep into the throes of fear and facing a threat they're totally unprepared for.
