Predicting 15 Comic Book Movies Announced In 2018

And finally, we have the movie that probably should've been confirmed a while ago, yet is still lingering around as a dubious maybe.

Man of Steel may have garnered a lukewarm reception from critics and audiences alike, but with Justice League reintroducing Supes (Henry Cavill) with a more hopeful, traditional interpretation, it's entirely possible Man of Steel 2 enjoys a far friendlier reception.

There have been recent rumours that Warner Bros. has been developing the project internally with a 2020 release date in mind, in which case an announcement would probably be made at Comic-Con this summer. That would give Warner Bros. ample time to build a hype campaign and reinforce the messaging that, yes, Superman's not a miserable bore anymore.

If 2018 passes without Superman getting another movie in writing, it's pretty damn worrying, especially with no Justice League sequel in sight. This needs to happen, and for that reason it most certainly will.
