Predicting How 2017’s Biggest Movies Will End

Justice League will see the superhero supergroup take on the supervillain Steppenwolf, and it goes without saying that he'll be vanquished by film's end, probably thanks to the return of a resurrected Superman.

That won't be the end of it, of course, because the movie needs to set up the second Justice League film due for release in 2019, where Steppenwolf's nephew Darkseid will surely head to Earth to wreak his own havoc.

It's already been confirmed that the movie will feature a flashback sequence where Amazonians, Atlanteans, and early humans team up to repel Darkseid from Earth, so it just makes total sense that he's the next villain in line.

Whether he hatches his plan in the main movie itself or in a post-credits scene, it's almost certainly going to be alluded to at the very least.
