Possible Plot: No idea, but Cap certainly won't be killed off- not yet, anyway. Baron Zemo will be the big bad, if only because it's doubtful that MODOK will rear his ugly head and he's the only real challenging antagonist for Cap besides Red Skull. If the first film was staunchly adventure period flick, and the sequel is a 70's paranoia flick, his could work as something akin to Paul Greengrass or Kathryn Bigelow's real-time, real-world thrillers. Captain America is the closest Marvel has at this stage to Batman, in that it can now use him to tell slightly darker, more mature stories than the fantastical Thor, the only other established headliner has at this point.Dream Casting: For Baron Zemo, it'd be great to see Christoph Waltz, and apart from that, there's no other characters that could show up that aren't already cast. Why? The reason for his return on the list are the same as Thor's and there's every chance Marvel will want to wrap up Cap's story as well in preparation for what will go down in Avengers 3. Predicted Reaction: Like The Winter Solider, Cap's success will be solid and improve on its predecessors, but sadly won't be a runaway hit like the Iron Mans or Thors. As much as this writer is a fan of the character and Chris Evans' performance, the public don't seem to love him as much, and it's unlikely that will change by 2017.
