Possible Plot: Features The Leader, set directly after the events of Avengers 3. It is extremely doubtful it will be the Planet Hulk/ World War Hulk storyline previously rumoured. Dream Casting: We're totally up for Tim Blake Nelson appearing, as he was transforming into The Leader in 2008's Incredible Hulk, but 11 years on, it'll probably be someone else. How about Joel McHale? Why? Because Ruffalo and the Hulk need a chance to spread their wings from supporting scene-stealers to genuine leading men... and yes, they need to be referred to as separate entities. Whatever this film is, it should be a character study of both Hulk and Banner, and someone like Ang Lee would be perfect here, if combined with the blockbuster entertainment mindset of Louis Letterier. It should follow the likes of Nolan's Batman films in that it takes time to really say something, but be a lot more entertaining. Anything but a brainless CGI-fest and we should be fine. Predicted Reaction: Well better than The Incredible Hulk, we'd hope. But as much as people love Ruffalo Hulk, it won't exactly be a runaway success despite being very well-received critically. Marvel's attempt for a warm, guiding hand through the MCU post-Avengers 3 won't be needed by the audiences. They're ready to move on.
