17. Monsters University
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODePHkWSg-U For much of the last two decades, Pixar was among the most consistently excellent movie studios in the world, turning out brilliant film after brilliant film. The last few years however, have seen Pixar stumble to a certain extent with both with Cars 2 and Brave being somewhere between mediocre and barely above average. Pixar will attempt to return to its winning ways in 2013 with Monsters University. While it probably won't reach the level of quality of Pixar's classic films like Up, Wall-e, or Toy Story, there's no reason to think it won't be at the very least an extremely entertaining movie. Monsters University serves as a prequel to one of Pixar's best films, Monsters Inc. The film will show monsters Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan in their college days where they form the inseparable bond that they had in the original film. With Pixar having two consecutive disappointments, hopefully they will be motivated to put as much carer and effort into Monsters University as they did with their previous masterpieces.

I love movies, literature, history, music and the NBA. I love all things nerdy including but not limited to Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, and Firefly. My artistic idols are Dylan, Dostoevsky, and Malick and my goal in life is to become like Bernard Black from Black Books. When I die, I hope to turn into the space baby from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
