The Ending: In a demented twist ending, it's revealed that protagonist Tree has in fact been her own killer the entire time...somehow.

There's plenty of hype for this intriguing, Groundhog Day-inspired horror film, and the trailers have already convinced many that the creepy masked killer will turn out to be Tree's awkward one night stand, but the seeming obviousness of this will most likely make it a deliberate audience misdirection.

Instead, it will turn out that, through some absolutely insane time travel shenanigans, she ends up murdering herself. How and why are anyone's guess, but it seems like the sort of too-clever-for-its-own-good twist that a horror movie like this would try to pull off.
