Also, if rumours are to be believed, Sharon Stone may be playing a returning Janet van Dyne, which of course sets the stage for a delicious Stone-Michael Douglas reunion from their Basic Instinct days.

Though Reed isn't the most naturally-gifted action director, if this sequel can serve up set-pieces as imaginative as the first time around, then it's going to be a fun if inessential entry into the franchise.
