Disney's 48th animated film, opening Christmas Day 2009!

Walt Disney Pictures have released some new images from their first 2-D animated film in four years, The Princess and the Frog which opens on Christmas Day 2009! It is the 48th animated film from Walt Disney Studio's which started all the way back in 1937 with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The movie follows a young black Princess who lives in the New Orleans€™ French Quarter during the jazz age, and is described as a classic animated musical fairytale. You can view the early teaser trailer HERE. And it comes from the directors of The Little Mermaid and Aladdin. Love the utterly fake looking but at the same time intoxicating and dreamlike backgrounds. This is shaping up pretty good, so much better than those odd opening moments of Enchanted.
