11: Flame Grilled
For what reason was Holloway infected? Did Weyland tell David to do it or did David do it on his own accord? If so, why did David decide to infect Holloway? In fairness, if I had to infect anyone on that crew, I would have picked Holloway for being so annoying but I might think twice if I was stuck on an alien planet where he is one of the key members of the team. Are there no other members of the crew that are more expendable? Even after he was infected, we didn't see the end result of the infection apart from a worm in his eye (what was that about?). As soon as he starts looking a bit sick, Charlize Theron fries him with a flamethrower in a scene that has none of the emotional gravitas it should. It's laughable the way he's shouting ''do it'' and notice that no one has a go at Charlize Theron for killing him.
