Rain is the Wachowski's NINJA ASSASSIN

Variety say that McTeigue will direct NINJA ASSASSIN for Warner Brothers, a mysterious Wachowski produced project which will star their SPEED RACER actor Rain in the lead role. It will be only his second lead role after making the switch from South Korean pop stardom (though he still sings, he is doing a new version of Kung Fu Fighting for the awful looking animated movie KUNG FU PANDA), his previous lead role being in I'M A CYBORG, BUT THAT'S OK from Chan-wook Park. And that's about all we have on this one, the trades got nothing else to share. Really like the title. NINJA ASSASSIN. I would love to see the HITMAN adaptation we all dreamed out but instead set in the world of Ninja's. How cool would that be?
