Sylvester Stallone's fourth Rambo movie has gone through yet another name change. Originally it was to be called
Rambo: The Serpent's Eye before they changed their minds and called it the awesomely cheesy sounding
Rambo: The Pearl of the Cobra. The news today is that they have changed their minds again! Buoyed my the success and simplicity of the title for
Rocky Balboa, the new Rambo flick will simply be called
John Rambo. Although it did sound like a straight to dvd title, I loved the Pearl of the Cobra. It sounded so 80's and so Rambo-ish but I guess with calling it JOHN RAMBO, it's kind of a statement of intent from Stallone to re-introduce this iconic character to the 21st century.
