MOVIE ANNOUNCEMENTS An alien prison break movie set at Area 51 is being produced at Rainmaker Animation, titled Escape from Planet Earth. Paramount Pictures have acquired the distribution rights to the Fred Wolf directed comedy Strange Wilderness and set it for a January 5th 2008 release date. The movie stars Steve Zahn and Justin Long. John Katzenbach's 2004 thriller novel The Madman's Tale has been picked up in a 7 figure deal, with Gregory Read set to director for Cinema Seven. Charlie's Angels director MCG has been hired to helm Me and My Monster for Sony Pictures. CASTING Prison Break star Amaury Nolasco will play a member of the Elite Forces unit who begins to question their methods in David Ayer's Night Watch. IMAGES/TRAILERS/DEVELOPMENTS The first official image from the Hitman movie has been released online. Joe Carnahan on his blog states that he is hoping to begin filming on White Jazz on December 10th. RUMOUR MILL Has Steven Spielberg made a "Genius" casting in Indy IV? Word around the web is that John Hurt's role in the film will be that of Albert Einstein, although some are skeptical because the film is taking place in 1957 two years after Einstein died.
