Well, it sure as hell isn't remotely as annoying as Welker's rendition, but this late-60s animated Joker has too deep a voice and too laboured a line delivery to be convincing as the character, even if the angular character design sure is creepy.

Perhaps Storch deliberately veered away from the heightened nature of Cesaro Romero's performance that was so popular at the time, but he didn't find a way to reinvent the character's voice meaningfully or entertainingly.

He got the laugh just about OK, but the prevailing sound of the character is just too different and too...wrong.

Simply, there's a reason you probably haven't heard of this version.
