Ranking All The Jokers: From Worst To Best

21. Lennie Weinrib - The New Adventures Of Batman (1977)

Every Joker
CBS

Lennie Weinrib's performance in five episodes of this series basically sounds like what would happen if William Shatner were ever asked to play The Joker.

With an oddly deep voice and over-insistent enunciation, he sounds hilariously off-kilter which...kinda gives him his own singular charm as the character.

There's also a lot of amusing sight gag work with The Joker in these episodes (see above), and while the voice definitely won't be for everyone, there's still something oddly engaging about it, gleefully bucking the conventions of the character with not a care in the world.

It's certainly no Larry Storch anyway, if you were worried about that.
