Ranking Batman's Entrances In All 13 Batman Movies From Worst To Best

12. Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice

Batman and Robin The Dark Knight The Batman

Batman’s entrance in The Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is a horror movie where Batman is the monster. The problem is, it tells too much of a good job of convincing us that Batman is a monster. Batman is so brutal in this introduction by just implication, the cool factor of the scene disappears, only the disturbing feeling remains.

It started with two cops entering what seems like an abandoned house. They enter the basement and see women in cages that are already broken. It is implied that this is a human trafficking ring and the reason the woman does not want to get out of their cages is because they fear Batman who is still in the house.

We hear screams of a struggle upstairs, with the implication that Batman is taking his time torturing the human trafficker. One cop sees the human trafficker, shirtless, bleeding, tied up, and in heavy breathing. He sees The Dark Knight in the dark corner. From the cop's perspective, it is a creature, so he shoots at him by instinct panic. When Batman is gone, they look closer to the man Batman was torturing and see that a bat symbol brands the man like cattle.

The tone of horror is proper for The Dark Knight, but If Batman is this brutal in this universe, why would we see him as a good guy? The story goes that he is getting more brutal with age and years of loss, but why would we be invested on the redemption of a man that tortures and brand people?
