Ranking Every Animated Batman Film From Worst To Best

19. Batman Unlimited: Monster Mayhem

This is the second film in the Batman Unlimited trilogy, a film series that was created solely to promote the toy line of the same name. Even with that cynical inspiration, they're not the worst thing ever, though Monster Mayhem is definitely the weakest of the bunch.

The voice acting is decent, the characters are fine and, despite the rigid animation, there are a few decent action sequences. It's a fairly by the numbers sequel, with its premise being a carbon copy of that of the first Batman Unlimited movie, Animal Instincts, except with a "spooky" themed super villain theme as opposed to an animal themed one, which is the reason it ranks the lowest of the three.

Not exactly anything riveting or particularly groundbreaking, true, but its passable entertainment that's safe for kids. It's far from perfect and won't really appeal to anyone besides kids, but then again, that was sort of the idea.

This is just some goofy, inconsequential fun that's not really worth kicking up a fuss over. It certainty didn't do anything unforgivable, like say, ruin one of the most iconic Batman comics of all time like The Killing Joke did.
