Alice in Wonderland is the Cats of Disney movies.

Think about it: it's a unique and artistically-satisfying piece that has little-to-no actual plot and just relentlessly throws characters at you while only kind of building maybe two or three of them.

Of course, there are shining parts of this movie, namely the sinister, somehow-both-evil-and-not-evil Cheshire Cat and the complete absurdity of the Queen of Hearts. But if you're looking for a movie with a solid story and a sympathetic main character, you're going to be disappointed with this one.
