Ranking Every Disney Animated Movie From Worst To Best!
3. Aladdin (1992)
The second in Disney's greatest consecutive trio of movies, Aladdin is positively delightful.
This movie has just about everything going for it. It starts with one of Disney's best openings, it has a delightfully-devilish villain in Jafar with a hilarious sidekick in Iago, it has a well-done romance between Aladdin and Jasmine (culminating in possibly the most gorgeous duet ever written, "A Whole New World"), but above all else, this film features the greatest Disney character of all time - The Genie.
The Genie is basically just Robin Williams flexing his fluency in improvisational comedy while the world's best animators bring it to life through visuals, and it is simply mesmerizing. And despite not having a singing background, he more than holds his own singing "A Friend Like Me" as well.
