41. Impaled By Flagpole (Perry Malinowski - Final Destination 3)

You'd be forgiven for totally forgetting about the death of Final Destination 3's minor character Perry (Maggie Ma), given that after three movies of creatively elaborate deaths, a relatively standard impalement just wasn't good enough.

With a potential-filled fairground setting, surely a more inventively grisly death scene than this was possible.

40. X-Ray Destruction (Nick O'Bannon, Lori Milligan & Janet Cunningham - The Final Destination)

Somewhat appropriately, the worst film in the series doesn't only feature the worst opening sequence, but also the worst ending.

In completely perfunctory fashion, The Final Destination's final scene sees the three apparent survivors, Nick, Lori, and Janet (Bobby Campo, Shantel VanSanten, and Haley Webb) creamed by an 18-wheeler out of nowhere.

The only thing distinguishing this scene is the immediate cut to x-ray vision upon impact, resulting in a uniquely clinical depiction of their bodies being torn asunder. Otherwise, though, totally unremarkable.
