Ranking Every James Bond Film - From Worst To Best
20. Octopussy
Roger Moore's penultimate outing as Bond came here, in Octopussy, yet another ill-conceived entry into the franchise and further proof that the end of Moore's tenure as 007 marks the worst run of films in the series. The film sees the usual Bond antics take place, with Russians, shady cults, and nuclear warheads all involved. That Bond dismantles said warhead while dressed as a clown should tell you everything you need to know about Octopussy. The film also contains some of the series' worst jokes, with a trip to India the ideal opportunity for Bond to crack wise about curry and thieves. With little in the way of great set-pieces (the assault on Khan's place is merely okay), the only saving grace is Maud Adams in her second stint as a Bond girl, who does a decent job with the thin material she's given.
