Ranking EVERY James Bond Henchman From Worst To Best
59. Milton Krest (Licence To Kill, 1989)
As a down on his luck marine researcher and drug smuggler working for Franz Sanchez, Krest is introduced having made a terrible life choice - and it's not being a marine researcher.
No, it's getting involved with Sanchez that seals Krest's blood-spattered fate; and even though the guy's a degenerate drunkard who spends his downtime slurring bitter threats at Bond Girl Lupe, few deserve such a death.
Then again, when you sign up to operate as a front for the brutal Sanchez, there's only one way it can end. Only the truly deranged Dario manages to earns a semblance of affection from the merciless drug lord, and to put it mildly, Krest isn't Dario.
He's a little hard done by, truth be told, framed by 007 as the one responsible for putting a hit on Sanchez and stealing his money. Franz falls for the ruse, and in a violent rage, locks Krest in a decompression chamber before popping his skull like a balloon.
The poor guy was severely in over his head - and now he doesn't have one. It's a hard knock life - but as any number of 80s films could've told Krest, just say no to drugs... and everything that comes with them.
