Ranking Every Keanu Reeves Movie Worst To Best
56. The Lake House (2006)
Despite blowing up the box office, this remake of the 2000 South Korean romantic drama Il Mare skates on thin ice where internal logic and comprehensibility are concerned.
Though it's cute to see Keanu and Sandra Bullock reunited more than a decade post-Speed, The Lake House asks audiences to abandon their critical faculties and just soak in the syrupy emotion of it all - which isn't always easy to do.
55. Hardball (2001)
From the director of perverse cult classics such as Good Burger, Varsity Blues, and Ready to Rumble comes this completely generic sports dramedy, starring Reeves as a down-and-outer who agrees to coach an inner-city Little League team.
Though certainly well-intended, Hardball doesn't ever fully reconcile its slushy sports movie style with its loftier aspirations as a drama, ensuring that its more serious, grounded moments end up feeling a little jarring.
It doesn't help that Reeves has little palpable chemistry with love interest Diane Lane, though he's moderately effective at playing a douchebag.
