Ranking Every Keanu Reeves Movie Worst To Best
22. Something's Gotta Give (2003)
Nancy Meyers' charming rom-com is all about the terrific performances of Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson as middle-aged lovers - resulting in Keaton receiving a Best Actress Oscar nod - and though it doesn't offer much in the way of surprises, it sure is a charming trip getting there.
Reeves plays a supporting role as Keaton's younger lover, and even if it's easy to sniff at Keaton picking Nicholson over his younger, suaver competitor at the end, this is so much better than it might've been with a lesser director and different cast.
21. A Scanner Darkly (2006)
It's easy to imagine that Reeves and Richard Linklater would make for suitably chilled-out collaborators, as proven in this singular animated adaptation of Philip K. Dick's 1977 sci-fi novel A Scanner Darkly.
Though certainly a challenging sit for the uninitiated, Linklater's experiment mostly pays off, due to its deliciously eccentric, twisty narrative, and the performances of not only Reeves but also Woody Harrelson, Robert Downey Jr., and Winona Ryder.
