Ranking Every Keanu Reeves Movie Worst To Best
8. John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017)
Superior to the first John Wick in practically every way, Chapter 2 is exactly what every action thriller sequel should be - more action-packed and expansive in terms of both mythology and scope.
The second film solidified that the series was eager to build a world which could be lived in by heroes and villains other than Reeves' Wick, creating a playground with major spin-off potential.
The action sequences thrill, Reeves is terrific, and that cliffhanger ending is surely one for the ages.
7. Parenthood (1989)
One of Reeves' earliest mainstream hits, the Ron Howard-directed Parenthood stars Steve Martin as the patriarch of a family struggling to balance his personal and professional lives.
Beyond Martin the cast is stacked, including Tom Hulce, Rick Moranis, Martha Plimpton, Joaquin Phoenix, Jason Robards, Mary Steenburgen, Dianne Wiest (who was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar), and of course Keanu himself.
Far more than just another schmaltzy Hollywood movie about parenting, Parenthood is effortlessly superior thanks to its observational, honest, and often risque writing.
