Ranking Every Major Female MCU Character From Worst To Best
2. Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell)
It's a damn shame we won't be seeing any more of Peggy Carter, considering she dies at the age of 95 in Civil War, and her self-titled prequel TV series was unexpectedly cancelled by ABC.
Still, Peggy is one of the most likeable and memorable MCU females, characterised by her steely Britishness, overwhelming professionalism, combat readiness and, of course, her touching not-quite-relationship with Steve Rogers.
Peggy and Cap's tragic romance is one of the most emotionally resonant aspects of the MCU, doomed by time and circumstance to never be together, and Peggy also stands as one of the longest-standing links in the franchise, appearing during World War II and in present day also (without any of Cap's nifty cryogenic tricks).
Her run is sadly over, but what a run it was all the same.
