Ranking Every Quentin Tarantino Movie Soundtrack Worst To Best

7. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Tarantino’s most recent feature - the Oscar-winning history revisionist drama, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood - only ranks at number seven, and that’s because it’s not as innovative or eclectic as some of Tarantino’s other soundtracks.

The soundtrack is done less as a piece of self-indulgence, but more of a way of setting the mood and time period of the film, reinforcing the argument that Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is Tarantino’s most mature work since Jackie Brown.

That being said, the soundtrack does have some great songs, including “Hush”, “Mrs. Robinson” and “California Dreamin’”. Also, as is often the case with Tarantino, he introduces us to some forgotten retro songs, including “Bring a Little Lovin’”, “Brother Love’s Traveling Salvation Show”, and Vanilla Fudge’s cover of “You Keep Me Hangin’ On”.

Although not as iconic or original as some of Tarantino’s soundtracks, this soundtrack is definitely worth a listen.
