Ranking July 2017's Movies From Worst To Best

14. Cars 3

Cars 3
Pixar

RottenTomatoes Score: 67% (6.1/10)

Box Office: The $175 million Pixar animation has just crossed $250 million worldwide, opening slightly below projections and delivering the lowest opening weekend of the series to date.

Though it still has to open in many markets worldwide, Cars 3 looks likely to fall short of the previous film's $562.1 million worldwide total. Not a bust, but not a Pixar smash either.

Verdict: A rock solid improvement over the totally forgettable second movie, Cars 3 is a back-to-basics threequel that boasts strong visuals and an unexpectedly affecting, even socially progressive, narrative.

It might not leave you craving Cars 4 anytime soon, but it's an above-average animated romp all the same.
