11. The Pompadour (Peggy Sue Got Married)
This one's high on the insane, but sadly rather low in terms of Cage actually pulling it off convincingly.
Yes, it's an appropriate hairstyle given the 1960s time period that most of the movie takes place in, but also hypnotically distracting and massively at odds with the more pared-down stylings of his bandmates (including a young Jim Carrey).
Hilariously, Cage was almost fired from the movie (directed by his uncle, Francis Ford Coppola, no less) for his insistence on using a high-pitched voice, so just think: that epic coiffure could all have been for nothing.
It escapes a lower ranking because it's period-relevant, but objectively, it's an eye-sore.
