Ridley Scott's BODY OF LIES trailer!

The trailer for Ridley Scott's 2008 effort Body of Lies has made it's way online. The movie is an adaptation of the David Ignatius novel of the same name and written into a screenplay by The Departed scribe William Monahan.Leonardo DiCaprio stars alongside Russell Crowe for the first time in 13 years when they both played gunslingers in a deadly Western "High Noon" tournament run by Gene Hackman in The Quick and the Dead. The plot involves a manipulative CIA boss (Crowe) who teams with an operative (DiCaprio) to trap a deadly Al Qaeda leader by framing him with a false rumor to his people that the bomber is in cahoots with the U.S.

SEE IT IN HD HERE. I can tell it's directed by Ridley Scott, still shooting many of the scenes exactly the same way he did American Gangster and I can recognise DiCaprio and Crowe trying to craft their characters but I'm just not feeling it? The acting seems more forced and unrelaxed from the pair than usual and the material feels like it would suit a Tony Scott movie rather than a one from his brother. Still, the story looks interesting enough. It might be a case of a undercooked trailer for what will hopefully be a satisfying film, when it opens October 10th.
