Rob Zombie Confirms He's In Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2
Horror director and rock legend returns to the Guardians franchise.
In an interesting bit of comic book movie casting news, it appears that Rob Zombie is set to play a previously unannounced role in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2. The horror director has just posted a picture to his Instagram with James Gunn, confirming he's recording a vocal track for an unconfirmed character.
This will actually be the second role for Zombie in a Guardians movie, as he played the Ravager Navigator in the first film, and has collaborated with Gunn several times since he was hired for Slither as a nod to his horror work.
If that's not the case, given the genre, you'd probably have to guess that he's playing an alien of some sort, dubbing over the original performer. And while he's made it public, it very much feels like one of those secret cameos Gunn likes to add to the Guardians films, so he might not be hugely impressed that it's out there.
Still, nice little addition to the cast.
Gunn also previously cast frequent collaborator Nathan Fillion and Lloyd Kaufman in vocal only roles in Guardians, and it's likely there are other such roles in the forthcoming sequel.
