Run, Fat Boy, Run delayed in the U.S, Wedding Daze ditched

Two of the worst movies I have seen this year won't be playing in a Cinema near you if your in the States.

Michael Ian Black as an actor but Run, Fat Boy, Run (which he scripted) and The Wedding Daze (which he wrote and directed) are two of the worst movies I have seen this year and they weren't made any better for the fact I got to see them for free. They were both plagued by the same problems. A one dimensional story with little interest, non-existent and totally unrealistic characters that Black could only find humor in by making them fall over or do something disgusting to get the cheapest laugh going. Nothing about any of either of the movies worked for me. Not one bit. So it's with little surprise that The Wedding Daze has been cancelled indefinitely in the U.S. and Run, Fat Boy, Run has been pushed back till March next year. Trust me, you are being saved on this one Michael Ian Black though is pissed. Speaking to Coming Soon, he said this on MGM's decision to cancel The Wedding Daze from it's release schedule..

"They f**ked me over, is essentially what happened," he stated quite bluntly. "They said they were going to release it and then just changed their mind. It's kind of in limbo at the moment. The production company that I made it with is trying to get it back, but the f**kers at MGM just f**ked me." Despite his discontent, Black has been keeping busy, and he's not looking back or waiting for it to come out. "At the moment, it feels pretty dead to me, so I've moved on from it," he admitted. "If it comes back great€"
The Wedding Daze is my turkey of the year so far, it's going to take an extraordinarily bad movie to knock it off it's perch.
