Ryan Reynolds accepts Sandra Bullock's Proposal

Ryan man what ya doing? After your awesome turn in Smokin' Aces, I thought you would more away from those evil rom-coms that you were typecast in for so long. You have a role in a big drama on the horizon starring with the likes of Julia Roberts, Willem Dafoe and Emily Watson, why not carry on in that direction? Why do you feel you have to put yourself through a Sandra Bullock rom-com?

Ryan Reynolds is in final negotiations to star opposite Sandra Bullock in "The Proposal," a romantic comedy from Touchstone Pictures. The story follows a demanding female boss (Bullock) who suddenly faces deportation to Canada. She makes a deal with her young male assistant (Reynolds) to agree to a sham engagement and marriage.
Peter Chiarelli wrote the script which was actually bought two years ago by the studio but is only coming to fruition now. No director or a start date is mentioned in The Hollywood Reporter's article. Mr. Reynolds, I'm disapointed in your man. You could have pushed for that Kirk role but instead your shacking up with Bullock? Hope you don't regret it.
