Sacha Baron Cohen's THE DICTATOR Runs Marathons Shooting Guns

The fearless Sacha Baron Cohen has once again been snapped by paparazzi during filming of what we expect to be another faux-documentary gorilla-shot film ala Borat and Bruno, this time titled The Dictator. The latest set of images from The Daily show Cohen playing the outlawed foreign dictator who in this scene at least is racing in some kind of marathon pointing his gun around. I guess that's a dictator's way. There's much more images and text after the jump but some might find them spoilerish (in as much as they spoil the scene in question); The filming was taking place this past Monday at the New York Randalls Island racetrack where clearly from the image below he uses his own gun to kickstart the race. Genius!! The Dictator is the third movie in the improvisational comedy trilogy that re-teams Cohen with director Larry Charles. Cohen plays two roles, one of an outlawed foreign dictator who finds himself lost in America and is loosely based on the memoirs of Saddam Hussein and the other as goat herder. The first official publicity still from the film was released last week. Co-starring in The Dictator is Ben Kingsley as a Middle Eastern character, Jason Mantzoukas as the dictator€™s sidekick and Anna Faris as a love interest and owner of a food store. Deadline gave us a meatier plot last month;
Baron Cohen plays a ruthless dictator who heads to the U.S. for a meeting at the United Nations and finds that his number two has replaced him with an unsuspecting sheepherder lookalike. As the dictator wanders the city, he meets the owner of an organic food store€ She turns around his dictatorial thinking, and there€™s a little romance in it as well.
The Dictator is due May 11th, 2012. He will kill your family if you don't go and see it.
