Sam Worthington is DAMAGED

Sam Worthington, not content with being at the very top of Hollywood's most wanted (has a movie based on the classic adventurer Quatermain, the famous undead for Dracula: Year Zero, as well as sequels to Clash of the Titans & Avatar and a rumoured stint as Flash Gordon on his potential schedule) - has formed his own production company, giving him the power to further dominate the forthcoming summer seasons. Titled Full Clip Productions, Worthington has formed the shingle with John and Michael Schwarz - setting up Damaged as their debut film, based on an idea the brothers themselves conceived. THR say Worthington and John Schwarz will co-star as;

"two brothers committed to justice in different ways -- one inside the law, one violently beyond it. Now with the end of their careers approaching, they must train their replacements, hoping to remake them in their image. But the vigilante code has changed and the brothers are left unprepared for the true lawlessness and corruption that is about to be unleashed."
David Lapham (a vet of crime/thriller comics)is writing a graphic novel of the story, but no screenwriters for the movie have been announced. Radical Studio's are co-developing. The film will be the first of many Worthington can create for comics, with the hopes to turn it into a movie. Damaged sounds a little like We Own The Night, and we wonder if they have formed this company because they couldn't get the idea commissioned anywhere else, which isn't particularly an encouraging sign. Worthington's schedule is so tightly packed, it might be a while before we get to see this one.
