Samuel L Jackson Says Black Panther And Nick Fury WILL Meet

Could the Avengers big boss appear in Black Panther 2?

If there's one thing you can count on Samuel L Jackson to do, it's throw out spoilers for his upcoming movies with the reckless abandon of an industry veteran who has long-since stopped giving a f*ck about anything.

He's done it again, too, following up his very public desires to be included in Black Panther (which obviously didn't come to fruition) with a tease for a project involving both Nick Fury and T'Challa. He spoke to ET Online to reveal that he'd pitched being in Black Panther and his statement seems to suggest there's something in the works:

"It was just like, 'Ehh, nah. We're good. Nick Fury and Black Panther will meet somewhere. But not there.'"

How that's going to happen when they're both currently "dead" thanks to Thanos remains to be seen, but it could be that whoever he spoke to at Marvel was being facetious and meant they'd both meet in the afterlife. Or maybe they're just in another dimension with the other victims, seeking a means to get back home?

The reality is that T'Challa is 100% coming back from his "death" in Avengers 4 and while Nick Fury's resurrection might be a little more surprising, he's a dependable figure who could end up being like the MCU's next Stan Lee in terms of constancy of appearances. As long as Jackson wants to do it, there'd probably be a place for him. So maybe he'll get a cameo of some sort in Black Panther 2 - or the pair will meet in a future team-up movie?
