Scrooged: 10 Awesome Images You've Never Seen

As the calendar creeps quickly towards Christmas Day on the 25th of December, we€™re counting down the days with a special advent calendar of festive films, revealing a set of rare images for each chosen film to surprise and delight film fans. I have a confession to make to you WhatCulture readers... I'm a sucker for a good rendition of A Christmas Carol. Every year at Christmastime, I enjoy watching Ebenezer Scrooge (or his proxies) go through the three trials of Past, Present, and Future, in hopes that he/she/it will change their ways and become jolly with the season's intent. If I were to boil it down to my three definitive versions, the list would include Mickey's Christmas Carol, The Muppet's Christmas Carol, and last (but most certainly not least) Scrooged. Growing up with Ghostbusters in my VCR at regular intervals, I was naturally a huge Bill Murray fan. So when my parents brought this VHS home, I couldn't help but pop it into the player just by the cover alone. I mean, this was a movie where Bill Murray WAS afraid of those ghosts. This challenged everything I knew and stood for as a kid, as well as showed me the Christmas Carol format modernized and injected with a heavy satirical element. It is in the spirit of the season, and in remembrance of a cult classic, that I share with you these Ten images.
