This is one of the original publicity photos from back in 1988, showing Bill Murray with David Johansen, the front man for the New York Dolls/Buster Poindexter, as The Ghost of Christmas Past. Probably the funniest, if not the most memorable of the three ghosts, Christmas Past drove a 1950's cab through several points in time that showed Frank just how far he'd become the cynical corporate tool he ended up becoming. Johansen also contributed a cover of "Brown Eyed Girl" to the official soundtrack, but as most Various Artists compilations can attest, it wasn't used in the actual film.
