2. Matt Lauer Kills A Shark

Two of the best cameos in Sharknado 2 come from Today presenters Al Roker and Matt Lauer, who throughout the movie report on the status of the Sharknado event, and do so with seriousness that is in itself totally hilarious. At the end of the movie, the Sharknado attack even infests their studio, and they're forced to take to arms, resulting in this glorious moment in which Roker holds the shark down while Lauer stabs it with an umbrella. After turning back to the camera, Lauer asks Roker, "We're still live?", and after he confirms it, Lauer says, "Thank you for watching the Today show, but we now resume our regularly scheduled programming", before stabbing the shark an extra time for good measure, screaming maniacally as he does so. So, for non-American audiences, Lauer will no longer be known as "that guy who argued with Tom Cruise once", but "that guy who stabbed a shark to death in Sharknado 2". It's a step up.
