7. All The Xfinity Stream Product Placement

If you hadn't heard of the Xfinity Stream app before watching Sharknado 5, you sure as Hell did coming away from it.

During several incredibly ham-fisted moments in the movie's third act, the app appears on screen in one form or another, first with an up-close glimpse of it on a character's phone, and then with several branded flags strewn around amid all the carnage.

It's still nowhere near as blatant as the ridiculous Subway product placement from Sharknado 2, but even the clear self-awareness of the shilling can only make the excessive placement so tolerable.

Plus, if an app is resorting to being plugged in a Sharknado movie, is anyone really going to take it much seriously?
