4. The Easter Eggs & References

While Shazam! is going to stand alone as a movie, as in there won't be any crossover, it does exist within the same World of DC as the likes of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, something this trailer references quite a lot.

We see Freddy wearing Aquaman and Wonder Woman t-shirts, a Batarang on his desk, and newspapers and magazines referencing Superman and General Zod, with Freddy quite clearly a comic book buff.

It's great to see the movie having some fun with these references, and there should be a lot more in the film itself. It's unlikely it'll be as obviously referential as something like Deadpool, but with teenagers who acknowledge (and worship) the existence of other heroes, there's plenty of potential for jokes and Easter eggs.
